I started with Green Isle in the Waterford depot back in the early 1990s, working in Telesales under the watchful eye of a lovely gentleman called Tom Kavanagh. When the Waterford depot closed, I transferred to Cabra, where I stayed until the new offices and factory in Naas opened.
I left Green Isle in 1994 as I needed to move back to Kilkenny, I was getting married in 1995. A job came up on the road as a rep in September 1995, which I applied for, and the rest is history. For the next 28 years, I was on the road. I loved it, even though it was challenging and sometimes lonely, but we had, and still have, a fantastic field sales team. Then, two and a half years ago, I was given the opportunity to interview for the Field Sales Manager role, which is where I am today.
