Lynne Croke celebrates 30 Years with Green Isle Foods

We’re proud to celebrate Lynne Croke on an incredible milestone — 30 years with Green Isle Foods.

From her early days in Telesales to leading our Field Sales team today, Lynne has shown incredible commitment and leadership. She’s not only a brilliant ambassador for Green Isle Foods but also a much-valued colleague and friend to so many.

To mark the occasion, Lynne shared some reflections on her journey with us:

I started with Green Isle in the Waterford depot back in the early 1990s, working in Telesales under the watchful eye of a lovely gentleman called Tom Kavanagh. When the Waterford depot closed, I transferred to Cabra, where I stayed until the new offices and factory in Naas opened. I left Green Isle in 1994 as I needed to move back to Kilkenny, I was getting married in 1995. A job came up on the road as a rep in September 1995, which I applied for, and the rest is history. For the next 28 years, I was on the road. I loved it, even though it was challenging and sometimes lonely, but we had, and still have, a fantastic field sales team. Then, two and a half years ago, I was given the opportunity to interview for the Field Sales Manager role, which is where I am today.

Anyone who knows Lynne will tell you she brings great energy, warmth, and humour wherever she goes. She’s a fantastic leader who always supports her team and someone everyone enjoys having in the office.

Thank you, Lynne, for 30 years of dedication, leadership, and laughter — we’re so lucky to have you on the team.
